Dock Equipment We Install, Repair, and Maintenance
A loading dock is only as good as the equipment bolted to it. For Door installs, repairs, and services the full range of dock equipment, dock levelers, seals, shelters, restraints, and bumpers for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. If a forklift needs to drive from the trailer bed to the warehouse floor without a gap, we have the equipment to make that transition safe.
Dock Seals and Dock Shelters
Dock seals and dock shelters close the gap around the trailer while it's backed into the dock, keeping conditioned air in and weather, dust, and pests out.
- Dock Seals are foam-filled pads mounted on the sides and top of the dock opening that compress against the trailer body when it backs in.
- Dock Shelters use flexible drapes or curtains that flex to fit different trailer heights and widths, which makes them a better fit for docks that see a mix of trailer sizes.
Torn seal fabric and stiff, cracked shelter curtains are two of the most common reasons a dock loses its seal, and one of the easiest problems to catch during a routine inspection.
Truck Restraints, Dock Locks, and Truck Chocks
Trailer restraint is a safety system, not an accessory. A trailer that creeps away from the dock while a forklift is loaded on it is one of the more serious accidents a warehouse can have, and it's preventable.
- Truck Restraints and Dock Locks hook onto the trailer's ICC bar (rear impact guard) from inside the dock and hold the trailer against the building, often interlocked with the dock leveler so the leveler won't operate until the restraint is engaged.
- Truck Chocks are the wheel-based backup, placed against the trailer's tires, used on trailers without an ICC bar or as a secondary restraint alongside a dock lock.
